The NSTS - Work & Study programmes offers you a work experience in the hospitality industry in Malta combined with the opportunity to practise English in an English speaking international environment for students and young travellers.
The programme offers the following:
v A time span of 4 to 52 weeks;
v All European Union and Australian citizens aged between 18 and 30 are eligible for such programme;
v Placements require an industry qualification and experience for the post applied for and an intermediate level of spoken English and knowledge of one other European language;
v Placements are subject to possession of a valid working permit that will allow you to legally work in Malta;
v You will generally work between 35 and 40 hours per week on a full time basis, but these may vary according to your place of work.
v The employer decided which remuneration option to offer. Options exclude possible tips.
v All applicants are to commit themselves to perform the entire agreed duration;
v A certification of a work experience in Malta is issued on successful completion of the programme.

v Application process and confirmation of obtained placement;
v Process of permit application;
v Meet and Greet programme:
v Support assistance as requested throughout the duration of stay.
